I really liked Brave. But it’s not like other Pixar movies. I feel like they didn’t spend as much time on character development or creating any complex characters. It’s still a delightful movie, with adorable animation, and a thoughtful and sweet story/moral, but the level of playfulness just wasn’t there. I missed it. 

It still (like all Pixar movies) succeeded in making me cry twice. Sooo, Pixar, you still got it. I just expected a bit more.
